I love the galvo style lasers and how fast they are when engraving, and with this one being that 3 watt IR and 10 watt diode, you can expect really fast results out of it, which is great. What makes Wecreat Lumos different from other similar products?
What materials can I use with Lumos?
Lumos can cut: Wood, leather, some dark opaque acrylic, MDF, felt, paper, cardstock, and foam.
Lumos can engrave: A wide range of thin materials — including metal like stainless steel, aluminum, and plated metal — as well as wood, leather, acrylic, MDF, paper, cardboard, felt, fabric, rubber, glass, ceramic, bamboo, cork, jade, marble, shale, cement, and brick.
How do I select between the lasers in Lumos's dual-laser system?
You can choose between the diode laser and the infrared laser directly in the WeCreat MakeIt software. Or simply search for your material in the built-in library — we’ll recommend the most suitable parameters for you.
Is it easy for newcomers with no prior laser engraving experience to use Lumos?
Yes, Lumos is suitable for users with no prior experience in laser engraving. No assembly is required after unboxing. In the fastest case, you can go from unboxing to completing your first engraving in just 15 minutes. Anyone can easily get started and quickly learn how to use it.
Is there a path to upgrade my power in the future?
Yes! We’re launching a 30W Fiber upgrade module in Q3 2026. It’s fully compatible with the Lumos and Lumos Flex series—you can easily upgrade your machine's performance by just replacing the laser module.

I really enjoyed using it since I’ve got it hooked up and it was difficulty with that because I lived in Canada, but they sorted that out. But I have a lot of problems with the laser hooking up to my computer and recognizing each other. Sometimes when I finish a project, it’ll disconnect that I can’t connect to again. I don’t know if it’s a technical problem if it’s a problem with the cord or anything like that so if you have any advice, please advise.

It’s a very good machine so far I like it, but I did something and I can’t seem to get it to connect to the computer, but I’m working on it besides that everything is a one I’m so glad that I have ordered it
